Anita Barone
Anita Barone, a stage actress with a range of abilities, mainly involved in sitcoms on TV, got the best opportunity to shine in Jeff Foxworthy's wife in ABC's "The Jeff Foxworthy Show" which aired for one season, from 1995 to. Barone began her stage appearance at age five in Detroit in the city where she raised following the move of her family to the city from St Louis. By the time she turned 23, Barone had already appeared in more than 50 plays. Many of them took place on stage in university and regional theaters. She was Juliet, the tormented young nun in "Agnes of God,"" Helen Keller, the main character in "Monday After the Miracle," as well as Juliet also in "Romeo and Juliet." In 1987, she had part in a feature film that was titled "Ricochet". Also, she appeared in a scene in "The Rosary Murders". And in 1996, she was the main character in an independent romantic comedy called "Just Friends". Barone was the first to get a notable Hollywood film role in the form of Carol & Company (NBC, 1990-91) which was a failed attempt to be a part of Carol Burnett in trying to revitalize the comedy sketch program. Barone has also appeared in a"Wounded Heart" USA Network movie, "Wounded Heart". She returned to weekly sitcoms as a co-star on "Daddio", NBC 2000, in which she co-starred with Michael Chiklis.
